 Last week we all went for a walk outside to collect seeds that had fallen on the ground. We wrote a poem about them. I wrote a what am I poem. Here is my work.

 Last week we wrote an I didn't poem using repetition. It was about saying what we didn't do in the holidays. Here is my work.

Play Make Create

 In Term 2 Week Two we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a story and you discuss the message in the story. Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation. We read a story called Stick and Stone. This was all about friendship. I chose to do Make and that was to make something unexpected using a stick or stone. I also made a poem about friendship. Here is my work.

I chose to do Create and that was making something for someone who you care about. I created a wishing box for mum. Here is my piece of writing and my create masterpiece.

Coding of Cicada Lifecycle

 We have coded our own unplugged program of the five stages of the cicada life-cycle. We have included some obstacles too.  The goal is to be able to have someone follow our codes to navigate our life-cycle by getting from stage 1 to stage 5 and avoiding the obstacles.  Here are some examples of our coded life-cycles.
