In Week 3 of Term 3, we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a story and you discuss the message in the story. Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation. This week Mrs Craig Read the book: the smartest Giant in Town by Julia Donaldson.

I chose to do design which was to do design your own story map. We also had to write three sentences about the Giant.
Today for Play, Make, Create Phoebe and I made a bridge out of legos. We were able to make it so sturdy that it could hold me. Here is my work.

For the last couple of weeks I made a Movie with Aiden, Maia, Stella, Phoebe, Cheyne and Laylah about Matariki and the seven sisters, and Ranginui and Papatuanuku. Here is our movie.
Last week on Friday it was Matariki Day. We all got to do two things for the day. I played Maori games with Matua Ken and Matua Tupara and made star shaped shortbread with Mrs B. I had such a great day doing all the fun activities. Here are a couple of photos of me.
