Whitney and Britneys chicken coop

We listened to the story Whitney and Britney the Chicken Divas. Yesterday we made a chicken coop for Whitney and Britney.  I have made the inside and outside of my chicken coop. Here is mine.

Whitney and Britney's Chicken coop

I have designed a fancy chicken coop for Whitney and Britney. I have put in fancy mirrors that make a beautiful reflection. I have also put in a double sized king bed so if they wiggle around they won’t have to worry about falling out of the bed. I have put in a very soft rug to make their feet nice and warm. I have put in a closet to put their fancy clothes and shoes in there.  They also have their favourite coloured wallpaper blue for Britney and pink for Whitney. And last but not least a very big desk to put all their things on.

For maths we have been learning our times tables. We have created a times table grid. You have to your times tables to get the chicken to her eggs. Here is my work.

Bubble Writing

This week we played with bubbles. We blew bubbles outside. Mrs Clarke had some really big bubbles. We used juicy words to write a piece of writing. Here is my work.

Play, Make, Create- Robot Stop

On Wednesday we used the story Robot Stop as inspiration for our Play, Make, Create tasks. Here is my tasks I completed for it.

Crystals

Yesterday with Miss Fletcher we made crystals using hot water and sugar/salt. We had to dissolve the sugar/salt in the water until it was saturated- would not dissolve anymore. We added food colouring then put our shaped pipe cleaner or string into the solution. We have to be patient until crystals form.
